Enhancing the showroom experience with seamless sound. Pixplicity (Pix) helped Sonos bring their vision to life with a custom Android system that lets their audio technology disappear while perfect sound quality takes center stage.
The Challenge
Our task was to strip Android down to its core. Out went distracting elements like navigation buttons, notifications, and status bars. Yet the system still needed to be secure and manageable. We had one clear goal: create a clean environment where Sonos products could truly shine.

The Idea
We developed a dedicated Android variant for the showroom tablets. By tucking system settings behind password protection and removing unnecessary features, we created a pure listening experience free from interruptions. Users can now fully immerse themselves in the sound while the technology quietly does its work behind the scenes.

The Solution
Starting from scratch, we built a secure, clutter-free interface for the showroom tablets. The system hides all the bells and whistles while being ready to use straight out of the box. The result? A polished presentation tool that lets Sonos audio products speak for themselves.
